Job summary

VCA Animal Hospitals seeks an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our surgery team at the Kalamazoo location. We offer a 24/7/365 emergency and specialty practice with a focus on compassionate patient care and collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities include collecting patient histories and exams, assisting doctors, and supporting radiology. Compensation ranges from $18 to $26 per hour, with a Monday through Thursday schedule and opportunities for growth within a supportive, wellness-minded

• Collecting patient histories and physical exams.
• Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority).
• Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services.

VCA Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center of Kalamazoo is now open in our new state of the art facility!

We are a 24/7/365 emergency, critical care and specialty practice, located in Portage, MI and we are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our surgery team .

Veterinary Assistant Duties:

Compensation: $18 - $26 / hour dependent on experience and skill set

Schedule: Monday thru Thursday

The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen.

In this position you will be supporting our Doctors team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients.
