The Ideal Candidate:
  • You are a Certified Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant with solid horse handling skills and basic knowledge of equine behavior.
  • You are a team player, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and can think critically.
  • You can remain composed in stressful situations.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You are motivated, dependable, and love horses.
  • You can lift 40 lbs.
  • Your clinical skills may include:
    • Patient assessment and physical examinations
    • Phlebotomy, catheter placement, and fluid management
    • Utilizing imaging modalities for assessment and setup
    • Assisting DVMs in diagnostics, treatment, and procedures
    • Knowledge of basic lab procedures such as CBC, Chem, SAA, fecal testing, IGG, PRP
    • Preparing and maintaining medical records
Anticipated Schedule (TBD):
  • Full-time and Part-time positions available
  • Weekend and after-hours availability once a month
  • Our clinic provides 24/7 care, 365 days a year!
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Salary commensurate with experience; starting at minimum $12/hr
