About This Role:

The Veterinary Health Center (VHC) within the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking Veterinary Assistants to join our dedicated Small Animal ICU team to help provide exemplary patient care. The primary responsibility is to provide clinical assistance to the ICU staff in the day-to-day operations of caring for critical patients. This includes maintaining inventory, organizing equipment, and engaging in basic patient care. Working hours will include overnight shifts and some weekends, emphasizing effective communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum: High school diploma and one year of relevant experience.
  • Preferred: Two or more years as a veterinary assistant, experience with medical equipment, ability to handle and restrain animals, willingness to learn new techniques.
