Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and technicians, ensuring the safety of pets and clients while contributing to high-quality care. You will assist with daily hospital operations, maintain cleanliness, and educate clients about preventive care and wellness plans.

Ideal candidates hold a NAVTA-approved Veterinary Assistant program or equivalent and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program/education combination required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Help maintain smooth patient flow and coordinate procedures.
• Communicate with veterinarians and vet techs to support treatment plans.
• Educate clients about preventive care, including Optimum Wellness Plans.
• Mentor other hospital team members as needed.
