Pharr Road Animal Hospital in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our eight-doctor team. You will support hands-on patient care, assist veterinarians and technicians, and help manage client scheduling and payments in a fast-paced, caring environment.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A calm and efficient approach, with the ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
• Confidence and skill in handling pets of all sizes and temperaments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in fundamental veterinary skills across laboratory, pharmacy, nursing and radiology is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential patient care and assist the medical team with hands-on care.
• Be the go-to support for the medical team to ensure smooth workflow.
• Create a positive client experience by assisting with scheduling, payments and communications, professionally.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and perform routine clinic upkeep and equipment maintenance.
