Pet Vet Hospital and Wellness Center in Spokane Valley, WA, is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our team. This role focuses on patient care, client communication, and building connections with pets and their families.

You will assist in exam room workflow, keep medical records, review treatment plans with clients, and support veterinarians during outpatient care. Flexible schedule with Monday–Friday and rotating Saturdays; full-time benefits included.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of veterinary assistant experience in a clinical setting.
• Proficiency in patient restraint, intake/vitals, client communication, and medical scribing.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient and client care by ensuring an efficient exam room workflow.
• Maintain accurate, detailed medical records.
• Review treatment plans and discharge instructions with clients, answering questions with empathy and clarity.
• Support the veterinarian’s orders during outpatient care and procedures to ensure the highest level of patient care.
