Mission Pet Health is seeking a Veterinary Assistant for WNC Veterinary Hospital in Arden, NC. Join a legacy of medical excellence at a AAHA-accredited, locally owned practice serving Arden and Asheville since 1975.

You’ll be part of a cohesive multi-doctor team with opportunities for growth and AVMA-accredited technician pathways. As a team member, you will deliver essential patient care, support veterinarians and technicians, and help ensure a positive client experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Calm, efficient approach in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Fundamental veterinary skills in lab, pharmacy, nursing or radiology are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential patient care as part of the medical team.
• Be the go-to support for the veterinary staff to ensure smooth workflow.
• Create a positive client experience by assisting with scheduling and payments.
• Maintain a clean, safe hospital environment and proper equipment care.
