Garden Grove Dog and Cat Hospital is seeking a dependable, motivated, compassionate, and experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our multi-doctor practice in Garden Grove, CA. We are a busy hospital with a diverse caseload. The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with people and animals and can communicate effectively and professionally with doctors, staff, and clients.
Shift options for Part-Time: Two 8-hour weekday shifts and one 7-hour weekend shift, OR one weekday 8-hour shift and two 7-hour weekend shifts.
The Veterinary Assistant duties include (but are not limited to):
The successful candidate will be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, provide exceptional customer service, and demonstrate genuine compassion. They should maintain a positive attitude and good record-keeping skills. The physical demands include bending, kneeling, lifting (up to 30 pounds), and standing for extended periods.
Advanced technical skills are not required but are a plus. Compensation depends on experience, ranging from $18 to $20 per hour. Bilingual Spanish/English is advantageous.
Our hospital hours are Monday - Friday from 7:30 am - 6:00 pm, Saturday from 7:30 am - 12:00 pm, and Sunday from 10:30 am - 3:00 pm. The schedule involves three shifts per week.

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience, with an hourly rate from $18 to $20. The final offer will consider skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
