Job summary

Noah’s Animal Hospitals – Indianapolis West is seeking a Veterinary Technician or Technician Assistant to join our swing shift team, 12p–12a, at our 24/7 emergency and specialty facility.

Bring compassionate client service, strong patient advocacy, and skills in venipuncture, anesthesia monitoring, radiographs, dental care, and post‑op care to help pets and their families when they need us most.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience preferred; time in a formal veterinary nursing/technician program also considered.
• RVT/LVT/CVA certification preferred but not required for all roles.
• Experience in emergency, ICU or general practice is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled veterinary nursing care and assist during procedures.
• Support emergency and critical care patients with monitoring and records.
• Maintain accurate medical records and communicate with clients.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compassionate handling.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience (preferred) - time spent in a formal veterinary nursing/technician program will also be considered
• Registered, Licensed or Certified Veterinary Technician (preferred) (RVT, LVT, CVA)
• Emergency, ICU, GP experience (preferred)
• Experience in the following skills: Venipuncture, Restraint, IV Catheter Placement, Assessing Vitals, Medical Record Notation, Intubation/Extubation, Monitoring Under Anesthesia, Minor Drug Calculations, Dentistry, Radiographs, post-surgical care, Fecal flotation and interpreting results
