Job summary

Noah’s Animal Hospitals is seeking a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant for our ICU unit in Indianapolis, IN. Full-time, evenings with some weekends and holidays required, providing compassionate care and leading client interactions.

Ideal candidates bring strong patient advocacy, ability to work under pressure, and a desire to grow in veterinary medicine with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience preferred in veterinary nursing/technician roles.
• Registered, Licensed or Certified Veterinary Technician/Assistant preferred (RVT/LVT/CVT/CVA).
• Emergency/ICU/GP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent and compassionate health care for pets and support families.
• Assist in emergency and ICU procedures, patient monitoring and care.
• Support client education and ensure memorable client experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in the following skills: Venipuncture, Restraint, IV Catheter Placement, Assessing Vitals, Medical Record Notation, Intubation/Extubation, Monitoring Under Anesthesia, Minor Drug Calculations, Dentistry, Radiographs, post-surgical care, Fecal flotation and interpreting results
