Job description

Cat and Dog Hospital of Portland is looking for a caring and committed Veterinary Assistant for full-time hours (10-hour shifts). Our hours are Monday - Saturday, 8-6.

The job responsibilities include assisting doctors and technicians with patients, maintaining hospital cleanliness and organization, and providing outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate should be able to stay focused, multitask, and communicate professionally with clients.

Our hospital is a compassionate Feline Friendly and Fear Free facility with a modern environment. We are a small team that values hard work, communication, and reliability. We aim to create a proficient and comforting environment within our hospital culture. Located in the Sellwood neighborhood of SE Portland, we are surrounded by a vibrant community, good restaurants, and parking options.

Experience with Cornerstone Software is a plus. Prior experience working in a veterinary hospital is preferred.
