Thrive Pet Healthcare in Turnersville, NJ is seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our team and provide end-to-end care for our patients.

You’ll support outpatient treatments, perform lab tests, and assist with admitting and discharging patients, contributing to high standards of compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Assistant (direct patient care).
• Has strong anesthesia skills (able to obtain blood pressure, ECG, SpO2, and ETCO2 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes).
• Possesses a positive work attitude; self-motivated; excellent communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end care for patients, including outpatient treatments and laboratory testing.
• Assist with admitting and discharging patients and support services.
• Collaborate with doctors to ensure timely and appropriate intervention and care.
