Thrive Pet Healthcare in Turnersville, NJ is seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant to support our caring team and patients. You’ll deliver end-to-end care, assist with outpatient treatments, and help with in-clinic testing and admitting/discharging patients, ensuring comfort and safety at every step.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Assistant.
• Strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, SpO2, and ETCO2) and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care.
• Positive work attitude.
• Self-motivated.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Thrive Pet Healthcare is looking for a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Turnersville, NJ.

About You

You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing end-to-end care for our precious patients. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients. The success of your patients’ care matters to you, and your success matters to us.

Your Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Assistant (direct patient care)
• Has strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care)
• Possesses a positive work attitude
• Self-motivated
• Excellent communication and organization skills

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $18 - $20 / hour. The actual compensation will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
