Job summary
The ArkAnimal Hospital in Hiram, GA is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our fast-paced, multi-doctor general practice. Responsibilities include triage, lab work, imaging, anesthesia support, and client communication in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications
- Experience as a Veterinary Assistant preferred (minimum 1 year).
- Compassionate, calm, team player, multi-tasker and strong communicator.
- Must be able to properly restrain pets.
- Proficiency with sample collection, medical histories, lab tests, radiographs; anesthesia monitoring is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Pet restraint and triage incoming patients.
- Collection and analysis of lab samples; diagnostic imaging.
- Medical and nursing care for hospitalized cases; administer medications.
- Communicate treatment plans clearly with clients; assist in surgeries and anesthesia.
