Qualifications

• NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program or equivalent
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Help maintain flow of patients and communicate with veterinarians and vet techs.
• Carry out procedures that do not require veterinarian or vet tech assistance.
• Educate clients about preventive care and wellness plans.
• Mentor other hospital team members.
