Mission Pet Health's Carolina Beach Animal Hospital in NC is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support everyday veterinary care. You will assist veterinarians and technicians with hands-on tasks, patient monitoring, and client communications in a coastal community setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Calm, efficient approach in fast-paced environments.
• Confident handling of pets of all sizes.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Fundamental veterinary skills in lab, pharmacy, nursing and radiology are a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential patient care as part of the medical team.
• Support the medical team to ensure smooth workflow.
• Create a positive client experience with scheduling, payments, and communications.
• Maintain a safe and clean hospital environment.
