You will support veterinarians with exams, treatments, anesthesia monitoring, and patient care while maintaining thorough medical records and clear client communication.

Qualifications

• Experience as a veterinary assistant or veterinary technician.
• Ability to handle dogs and cats safely and compassionately.
• Strong record-keeping and client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely restrain and handle dogs and cats for exams.
• Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and surgeries.
• Monitor anesthesia depth and vital signs.
• Place IV catheters and collect samples (blood, urine, etc.).
• Perform in-house lab tests and assist with diagnostics.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Prepare rooms, instruments, and supplies for procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and client communications.
