Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer proficiency, including practice management software and Microsoft Office.
• Previous experience working with animals preferred; veterinary or animal care background strongly valued.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and handle animals up to 130 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, professional care to patients and clients at all times.
• Communicate clearly with clients, doctors, and team members; answer phones and route inquiries as needed.
• Assist the veterinarian during exams, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures.
• Safely restrain animals using low-stress handling techniques and administer medications as directed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and enter treatment plans in the system.
