Hometown Veterinary Partners is hiring Veterinary Assistants to join brand-new hospitals in your area. Full-time or part-time positions offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

You will support clinics with client care, veterinary procedures, and collaborative teamwork to build a strong community presence. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment where growth is encouraged, and continuous learning is supported with training and development resources.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of veterinary experience required.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills are valued.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive, supportive, and collaborative work environment.
• Greet clients and their pets and manage check-in/check-out actions.
• Assist clients in checking in and out and setting up appointments for follow-up care.
• Gather basic vital signs, weight, and history on patients.
• Properly restrain pets during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed by the DVM.
• Observe animal health conditions and report to the DVM.
• Triage emergency cases appropriately and keep clients and pets at ease.
• Review patients’ records to ensure vaccines and tests are up to date.
• Note all observations and treatments in Medical Notes.
• Clean kennels, examination areas, and sterilize equipment.

Education
