Elm City Vet – Primary Care in New Haven, CT is seeking a compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team. You will support doctors, technicians, clients, and patients, handling a range of duties from patient care to maintaining a clean hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient restraint during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Obtain and record TPRs (Temperature, Pulse, Respiration).
• Assist technicians with appointments and procedures.
• Set up instruments and supplies for procedures as directed by doctors.
• Take radiographs (x-rays) under supervision and ensure proper protocol.
