Job summary

Total Veterinary Care in Kennesaw (Greater Atlanta Area) is seeking a full-time vet assistant/non-licensed vet tech to join our two-doctor practice. The role requires at least 1 year of full-time veterinary assistant experience, strong restraint and lab skills, and a passion for client education.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months of full-time veterinary assistant experience.
• Ability to restrain patients and perform basic lab work.
• Strong communication with clients and team.
• Understanding of preventative medications and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist DVM in surgeries, exams, and diagnostic workups.
• Prepare for appointments and take medical histories.
• Assist with client education and treatment plans.
• Maintain organization and attention to multiple details.
• Work rotating Saturdays and 30+ hours per week.
