Qualifications

• 2+ years of veterinary assistant experience.
• Experience in collecting blood samples and placing IV catheters.
• Knowledge of patient preparation and nursing care.
• Familiarity with anesthesia support and monitoring.
• Strong communication and client service skills.
• Ability to multitask with a keen attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Preparing patients for examinations and treatments.
• Assisting with diagnostic testing and sample collection.
• Supporting surgical and dental procedures.
• Monitoring patient comfort and recovery.
• Documenting medical histories and patient information.
• Educating pet owners on wellness advice and treatment plans.
• Maintaining treatment areas and medical equipment.
