The role requires NAVTA-certified education (or equivalent) and a high school diploma. You will assist with exams, communicate with clients, educate on preventive care, and mentor teammates as needed.

Qualifications

• Certificate from NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program or equivalent.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience performing NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant tasks at an efficient level.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and vet techs to maintain patient flow.
• Communicate with veterinarians and staff; set up procedures as needed.
• Adhere to hospital standards ensuring pet safety and clean facilities.
• Educate clients about preventive care and wellness plans.
• Mentor other team members and support the hospital team.
