VCA Deer Creek Animal Hospital in Littleton, CO is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our one-of-a-kind, multi-doctor hybrid hospital. The role supports our Doctor and Technician teams by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for clients and patients.

The position offers a part-time schedule, including Fridays and possibly Sundays, with competitive wages and opportunities for mentorship and career development within the VCA network.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Veterinary Assistant or similar role preferred.
  • Comfort with restraining animals during exams and procedures.
  • Ability to document medical histories and patient vitals accurately.
  • Familiarity with basic lab work and diagnostic imaging is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Restrain and assist in patient exams and routine procedures.
  • Take detailed medical histories and patient vitals.
  • Fill prescriptions as allowed by law.
  • Perform laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
  • Provide compassionate care for hospitalized animals.
  • Maintain medical records.
  • Support doctors and technicians as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe hospital environment.

VCA Deer Creek Animal Hospital in Littleton, CO is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our one-of-a-kind, multi-doctor hybrid hospital! Location: Littleton, CO Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 Application deadline: 10/31/2026 Part-Time: Fridays 9A-8P, possibly Sundays 9A-8P
