Destination Pet, LLC is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our team at Church Ranch Veterinary Center in Westminster, CO. The ideal candidate will assist veterinarians, maintain medical records, and help with nursing care while providing a welcoming experience for clients and their pets.

This position requires 2+ years of clinic experience, the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays, and physical stamina to lift up to 40 pounds and restrain animals.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with compassionate nursing care.
• Prepare, clean and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Fill prescriptions as directed and explain directions.
• Assist reception with check-in/check-out and phone support.
• Perform various laboratory tests.
• Keep facilities clean and well maintained.
