Bond Vet is seeking a compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team in Jersey City, NJ. The role involves providing exceptional care to pets, working closely with Veterinarians and Vet Techs, and supporting clients with a high level of compassion.

We offer competitive pay of $17-$26 per hour depending on experience, with flexible schedules and additional perks such as profit sharing bonus, 401(k) with employer match, and up to 100% tuition reimbursement for team members pursuing their veterinary credentials.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience working as a veterinary assistant or kennel assistant.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A passion for pets.

Responsibilities

• Scribe for our Veterinarians during visits.
• Support medical team members with surgeries, x-rays, treatments, and other procedures.
• Compassionately handle and restrain pets for exams.
• Assist with client interactions, walk-ins, calls, scheduling, and client education as needed.
