Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of veterinary assistant experience preferred.

• Ability to properly restrain companion animals.
• Lift up to 40 lbs unassisted.
• Self-starter with a desire to grow knowledge and skills.
• Experience with sample collection, labs, radiographs, or anesthesia monitoring is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors during exams and outpatient care with restraint and triage.
• Collect and analyze laboratory samples and support diagnostics.
• Assist with radiographs and administer medications as directed.
• Provide nursing care for medical and hospitalized patients.
• Interact with clients to schedule, answer questions, and collect payments.
