Job summary

Wolf Run Veterinary Clinic in Williamsport, PA seeks an experienced Veterinary Assistant for a full-time, 4x10 schedule. Monday–Friday availability with rotating weekends every 4–5 weeks. You’ll work across exam rooms, surgery, diagnostics, and client communication to support high patient care.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of veterinary assistant experience
• Proficiency in client education and communication
• Safe, low-stress patient handling and restraint

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient exam room workflow and outstanding client communication, including check-ins, treatment plan review, and discharge instructions
• Assist our surgery team with patient prep, setup, monitoring, and recovery
• Perform in-house diagnostics including microscopy and laboratory sample collection and processing
• Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and clarity
• Collaborate with your team to support the veterinarian's orders during outpatient visits, ensuring the highest level of patient care
• Jump in wherever you're needed — team-first environment with versatile duties
