Qualifications

• 2+ years of veterinary assistant experience.
• Ability to educate clients and communicate clearly.
• Safe, low-stress patient handling and monitoring.
• Nursing care and patient assessment.
• Administer oral medications and SQ injections.
• Venipuncture skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient exam room workflow and outstanding client communication, including check-ins, treatment plan review, and discharge instructions.
• Assist surgery team with patient prep, setup, monitoring, and recovery.
• Perform in-house diagnostics including microscopy and laboratory sample collection and processing.
• Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and clarity.
• Collaborate with team to support veterinarian orders during outpatient visits, ensuring high-quality care.
• Jump in wherever needed in a team-first environment.
