Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in veterinary assistant or related role.
• Proficiency in safe animal handling for dogs and cats of varying sizes.
• Ability to assist with exams, treatments, surgeries, and outpatient procedures.
• Accurate medical records and documentation; follow established protocols.
• Strong client communication with compassion and professionalism.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Support efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows.
• Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, surgeries, and dentistry.
• Provide safe, gentle patient handling and restraint.
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
• Review treatment plans and discharge instructions with clients clearly.
• Keep exam rooms and treatment areas clean, organized and prepared.
