Veterinary Assistant ER Overnight and Day Shift

We are seeking an experienced ER veterinary assistant for both full-time and part-time day and overnight shifts. Overnight shifts include a differential pay. The pay range is $22.00/hr - $28.00/hr, with a sign-on bonus of up to $2000 based on experience.

Responsibilities include:
  • Phlebotomy and laboratory sample processing (IDEXX, Urinalysis, Cytology)
  • Assisting with emergency procedures and case setup
  • Medical record-keeping and invoicing
  • Cash handling and deposits
  • Patient intake and discharge
  • Monitoring hospitalized patients and reporting changes
  • Effective communication with team and reporting to senior staff or DVM
  • Following verbal and written instructions
  • Understanding treatment/flow sheets
  • Performing other veterinary nursing tasks as assigned
