Job summary

VCA Orange County Veterinary Specialists is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our Emergency Team in Tustin, CA. This full-time role offers 4x10-hour shifts with a pay range of $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining medical records, assisting in procedures, preparing medications, and communicating with clients. You will perform lab work and imaging and help care for hospitalized pets, with shifts that include at least one weekend day.

Qualifications

• Experience in veterinary medicine.
• Evenings or weekends availability may be required.
• Able to work 4x10-hour shifts and adapt to a fast-paced emergency setting.

At VCA Orange County Veterinary Specialists we are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our Emergency Team.

Salary: $ 20 - $ 25 / hour

Schedule: Full-Time, 4x10-hour shifts

Location: 3021 Edinger Ave, Tustin, CA 92780

This will include at least one weekend day (unless you are a glittery unicorn that really, really wants to work Saturdays AND Sundays, which we would be happy to accommodate). Duties will include:
