Veterinary Technician Assistant - Emergency

Full-time: day or swing shift, 3 day-12 hour shift or 4 day-10 hour shift.

Location: Round Rock, Texas

Heart of Texas is looking for a Veterinary Technician Assistant to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.

About You
Role Responsibilities:

Our Veterinary Technician Assistants are responsible for assisting with basic patient husbandry, patient handling, assisting in record keeping, performing patient laboratory tests, and ensuring the hospital is kept clean, stocked, and prepared.

Our Ideal Candidate:
  • Has knowledge of basic veterinary practices
  • Able to appropriately handle animals
  • Able to assist in veterinary medical procedures
  • Recent experience in a veterinary practice
  • Willing to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
