VCA Chatoak Animal Hospital in Granada Hills, CA is seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our AAHA-accredited, full-service hospital. The role offers a 4 PM to midnight shift, 5 days a week, including weekends and two holiday shifts per year.

Salary ranges from $23 to $25 per hour depending on experience and credentials; location at 17659 Chatsworth St, Granada Hills, CA 91344. Benefits and a supportive team culture accompany this position.

• Anesthesia monitoring
• Surgical preparation and assisting
• Laboratory work
• Venipuncture, IV catheter placement, IV fluid therapy
• Catheter placement

• All aspects of patient care
• Animal handling and restraint
• IM, IV, SQ injections
• Digital radiography
• Nursing care/hospitalization treatments

Job description

VCA Chatoak Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time, experienced Veterinary Assistant to join the team at our AAHA-accredited full-service hospital in Granada Hills, CA.

Salary: $23 - $25 / hr, depending on experience/credentials. Shift differential Friday - Sunday.

Schedule: Full-Time, 4 PM to midnight / 5 days a week. Weekends are a must. 2 holiday shifts a year.

Location: 17659 Chatsworth St, Granada Hills, CA 91344.
