Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year veterinary experience preferred.
• Willing to learn and seek ongoing education.
• Ability to restrain animals and monitor sedation.
• Work around animals, chemicals and clinical environments.
• Knowledge of hospital procedures and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients.
• Greet clients and guide to exam rooms, record vitals.
• Triage, exam, treatments, and medication administration with LVTs.
• Calm anxious patients and assist veterinary team.
• Assist doctors with medications and patient restraint.
• Perform lab tests and radiographs.
• Operate hospital equipment and maintain records.
• Fill prescriptions and document controlled meds.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper sanitation of facilities.
• Educate clients on insurance, wellness, and plans.
• Maintain medical records and daily hospital operations.
• Support hospital products and services; comply with safety rules.
