Qualifications

• Radiology certificate preferred.
• Surgery monitoring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients
• Greet patients and their owners as they arrive and take weight and vital signs
• Triages patients, perform exams, treatments, and administer medications as directed
• Calm and soothe anxious patients
• Assist doctors and technicians with medications and restraints
• Perform laboratory tests and take radiographs
• Operate hospital equipment and maintain records
• Feed, groom, bathe and monitor patients as prescribed
• Educate clients about insurance, wellness and medicinal plans
• Maintain cleanliness and safe handling of chemicals
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Show up for work regularly; full-time presence required
• Promote hospital products and services
• Respond to directions from DVM or LVTs

Skills

Radiology certificate

Surgery monitoring experience

6 months veterinary experience

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
