Qualifications

• 2 years of professional experience in a veterinary clinical setting.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to problem solve.
• Ability to lift and restrain pets up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Animal handling and restraint
• Assist doctors and technicians with medical treatments, diagnostic tests, and procedures
• Obtain health history from clients and document in EMR
• Maintain cleanliness of treatment and patient areas
• Restock and organize medical supplies
• Deliver exceptional client service to pet owners
• Schedule and confirm appointments, maintain records and provide treatment estimates and invoices
• Process financial transactions accurately
• Perform opening and closing procedures, end-of-day reports, and deposits
• Continuously advance knowledge and skills
• Communicate effectively with clients, doctors, and veterinary team
