Job summary

Companions Animal Hospital in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, is seeking a Veterinary Assistant / Client Care Representative who enjoys hands-on patient care and interacting with clients. The role involves moving between medical and client care tasks, from assisting with appointments and treatments to answering phones and coordinating the schedule. We emphasize teamwork, open hours from 7 a.m.

to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous veterinary experience preferred.
• 1+ years of Veterinary Assistant or customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable working with both pets and people.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Organized, dependable and detail‑oriented.

Responsibilities

• Obtain histories, vital signs and patient information.

• Perform venipuncture and catheter placement based on experience.
• Support patients, clients and teammates as needed.

Veterinary Assistant / Client Care - No Nights! No Weekends!

Companions Animal Hospital is looking for aVeterinary Assistant / Client Care Representative who enjoys both hands‑on patient care and working with people.

This is the perfect role for someone who likes variety, stays busy and is comfortable moving between our medical and client care teams. One part of your day may include assisting with appointments and treatments, while another may involve helping clients, answering phones or keeping the schedule moving. Both are critical to helping pets and the people who love them.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Hours: Our hospital is open 7a-6p Monday-Friday.
Pay: $16-$19/hour, depending on experience and certification

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear.The team member must frequently use a computer for long periods of time. Specific visionabilities are required to do this job including close vision. This position requires walking and/or standing for long periods of time, bending, reaching, grasping, and repetitive motions. May be exposed to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, pets dander, and excretions. This position isexposed to low to moderate noise levels. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. unassisted, 40 lbs. withassistance.
