Bell Veterinary Clinic of Metamora, part of the Veterinary United network, is seeking a Veterinary Assistant who will also serve as Client Ambassador. The role involves routine exams, advanced procedures, and delivering exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a Veterinary Assistant.
• Proficiency in IV catheter placement, blood draws, patient monitoring under anesthesia, surgery prep, vaccine administration, euthanasia assistance.
• Customer service and office clerical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional animal care across routine exams and advanced procedures.
• Build lasting connections with pets and their families.
• Collaborate as a team player within a supportive environment.
• Contribute to improving veterinary care practices.
• Greet clients and pets, answer phones, schedule appointments, update medical charts, process payments, assist with admin tasks, support kennel staff, maintain reception area.
