Job summary

PetVet Care Centers’ A-Animal Clinic & Boarding Kennel in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and technicians in daily tasks. You will assist with cleaning, feeding, restraining, and preparing surgery suites, while ensuring compassionate patient care and excellent client service.

The role involves maintaining equipment, recording patient conditions, handling medications, and providing quality care across our full-service hospital and boarding kennel

Qualifications

• Applicant must be 18 years or older to be considered for this position.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be a skilled surgery technician.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and technicians in daily tasks including cleaning and maintaining equipment.
• Feed, exercise, and groom patients; prepare and sanitize surgery suites.
• Restrain and handle patients; document and communicate with owners as directed by the veterinarian.
• Maintain records and observe patients for clinical signs of disease; assist with medication administration.
