$1,000 Sign-On Bonus with qualifying experience. We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our growing hospital. You will support our Credentialed Veterinary Technicians and DVMs in daily operations, assisting with patient care, procedures, and diagnostics. Position Skills:

  • Assist DVMs and veterinary technicians with appointments, surgeries, and procedures
  • Restrain animals safely and compassionately
  • Obtain vital signs, medical histories, and note patient condition changes
  • Collect and prepare laboratory samples
  • Maintain medical equipment and tools
  • Communicate effectively with clients about patient updates and questions

Position Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of medical procedures and animal handling
  • Strong communication skills, good judgment, and ability to work under stress
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Pay ranges from $12.35 to $20.90/hour based on experience.
