Job Description Summary

The Veterinary Assistant supports veterinarians and veterinary technicians, ensuring the safety of pets, clients, and staff, and maintaining quality veterinary care.

Preferred Education/Licenses:

Certificate from a NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program or equivalent experience. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Preferred Experience:

Ability to perform all required NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant skills efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining patient flow

• Set up procedures within scope of practice
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in treatment areas
