Three Creeks Veterinary Clinic, a Thrive Pet Healthcare Partner, is hiring a Part-Time Veterinary Assistant.

Location: Vancouver, WA

Schedule: 20-25 hours/Weekends only | 8:00am-6:00pm

Three Creeks Veterinary Clinic is looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join us as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.

As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll play an important role in pets' lives by providing end-to-end care for our patients. Your work will include hands-on care, outpatient treatments, laboratory tests, and support services like admitting and discharging patients.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Support veterinarians to ensure quality care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
  • Assist with hospital functions to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
  • Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with state regulations for credentialed veterinary technicians.
  • Communicate with clients about pet health concerns and Thrive Membership options, medications, and treatments.
  • Maintain medical records and relevant health history.
  • Use safe restraining techniques, follow protocols, and keep treatment areas clean and organized.
  • Support and mentor team members.
Experience & Skills Requirements:

  • Veterinary experience required

Compensation is negotiable, starting at $18 - $21/hour, based on credentials and experience.
