Qualifications

  • Compassionate patient care and client communication.
  • Experience supporting veterinary procedures and patient handling.
  • Ability to assist with lab work and recordkeeping.
  • Familiarity with basic veterinary imaging and anesthesia support.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in exams and patient handling.
  • Support laboratory work and sample processing.
  • Assist with diagnostic imaging and dental/surgical procedures.
  • Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery.

Our new hospital spans over 6,000 square feet and features a cutting-edge surgical suite, a dedicated dental suite, eight exam rooms, and ample off-street parking for your convenience. As we expand into our larger, state-of-the-art facility, we're looking to grow our team as well! VCA Mt. Kisco is currently seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join the medical team. We have been serving the community for over 35 years and are committed to upholding a supportive culture in our hospital that values each person’s individual skill and personality and promotes professional growth. The salary range for this position is $18 - $21 / hour
