Job summary

VCA All Pets Animal Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a veterinary assistant to join our team on a full-time schedule, weekdays and Saturdays. You will support the Doctor and Technician teams by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for clients and patients.

Responsibilities include restraining and assisting in exams, taking histories and vitals, preparing medications, performing lab work and imaging, maintaining medical records, and helping maintain a clean hospital.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting in exams and routine procedures.
• Ability to take medical histories and vital signs.
• Familiarity with maintaining medical records and basic lab work.

• Filling prescriptions (as allowed by law).

VCA All Pets Animal Hospital is seeking a veterinary assistant to join our team. Location: Baton Rouge, LA Full-time, weekdays and Saturdays Pay: $15.00- $17.00/hr.
