Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Provide friendly, quality customer care to patients and clients
- Assist with animal handling and restraint
- Determine the status of the patient’s immunizations and tests
- Greet clients and their pets and set them up for examinations
- Assist in cleanliness and maintenance of the hospital to ensure a great client experience.
- Accurately input data into computer software
- Some reception work including but not limited to answering phones, responding to emails, responding to text messages, scheduling appointments, checking clients out, confirming appointments and obtaining all necessary medical history
- Making outbound calls to schedule appointments for pets that are past due for services
- Understand common vaccination protocols, basic lab tests, common diseases, veterinary terminology and pet behavior
- Fill prescriptions, food requests, and over-the-counter products as instructed by a veterinarian

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- High school diploma or greater
- Weekend availability
- Ability to lift 30-50 pounds
