Job summary

Country View Veterinary Service is hiring a Full-Time Veterinary Assistant to support exams, surgeries, and daily clinic duties with compassion and hustle.

You will help maintain medical records, prep patients, assist with labs, and educate pet owners in a busy hospital setting, collaborating closely with technicians and DVMs. Growth and teamwork are emphasized within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate medical records and address client questions.
• Prepare patients for exams and surgeries.
• Administer medications as directed.
• Assist with lab tests (blood, fecal, urine).
• Clean and sanitize surgical tools and exam areas.
• Monitor post-operative patients and report changes.
• Safely restrain patients during exams and procedures.
• Educate pet parents on medications and care.
• Collaborate with Credentialed Technicians and DVMs to provide high-quality care.

What You’ll Do

• Keeping accurate medical records and helping answer client questions
