Join our amazing team as our newest Veterinary Assistant!

Our clinic operates six days a week, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and our close-knit team allows for strong, lasting relationships with clients and their animals.
Key Requirements:
- Ability to multitask efficiently across responsibilities such as answering phones, assisting in exam rooms, and filling prescriptions
- Comfortable handling animals of all breeds and sizes
- Proficient in both computer use and phone communication
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact warmly and professionally with clients
Looking to fill the following shifts:
- Monday 8-6pm
- Tuesday 8-6pm
- Wednesday 8-1pm
- Saturday 8-5pm

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Restraining a variety of canines and felines for the doctors and technicians
- Cleaning (Sweeping, Mopping, cages, dishes, garbage, exam rooms, treatment area, etc.)
- Administering oral medications
- Documentation of general well-being of patients during intake
- Preparing surgical material in coordination with the surgical handbook (ensure materials are sterilized and prepared for procedures)
- Assisting LVTs with TPRs & blood pressures.
- Capturing various types of radiographs including but not limited to the thorax and abdominal views

- Neat, clean, and adheres to West Hills North uniform
- Individuals with extreme willingness to learn, and with great love for animals
- 1 year of general practice or emergency veterinary experience
- Must be able to stand, lift, and do work duties for a minimum of 8 hours
- Lifting of large boxes, dog food, and a variety of canine and feline species up to 50 lbs
- Ability to write neatly, communicate well with others, attend staff meetings, and adhere to training programs
- Own transportation
