Job summary

VCA Tomball Veterinary Hospital in Tomball, TX is seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant to support doctors and technicians, improve patient flow, and deliver compassionate care to pets and their families.

You will help restrain pets, prepare exam rooms, collect histories, assist with procedures, maintain records, and perform light lab work, all within a collaborative team that supports ongoing education and growth.

Qualifications

• Duties involve animal care and handling, client communication, and collaboration with a veterinary team.
• Experience with basic medical records and lab tasks is helpful but not required.

Schedule: Full-time opportunity, 5 x 8-hour shifts with rotating Saturdays.

Compensation

$15.00 - $20.00/hour

Pay range is negotiable based on experience, education, skills, and credentials.
