Mobile Imaging Veterinary Ultrasound (MiVU) is a mobile veterinary ultrasound service serving veterinarians in Virginia and Maryland. MiVU offers advanced diagnostic ultrasound in veterinary hospitals, maintaining the doctor/client/patient relationship. Our goal is to provide prompt, accurate, and affordable services, including abdominal ultrasound, echocardiogram with cardiologist interpretation, fine-needle biopsies, tru-cut biopsies, and cavity centesis.

MiVU is a veterinary mobile imaging company serving over 500 small animal hospitals across DC, Maryland, Virginia, Tampa, and Nashville. We seek an enthusiastic, animal-loving individual to join our fast-paced, high-level diagnostic imaging team in Tampa. This role offers a great opportunity to make a difference and gain veterinary experience. We prefer candidates who are positive, driven, team-oriented, and passionate about helping animals. This veterinary support role involves approximately 32 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Availability Monday-Thursday, 9 AM to 5 PM
• Flexible with morning meetup times
• Driving across Tampa and surrounding areas
• Lifting, handling, and comforting animals
• Keeping animals still during ultrasound procedures
• Loading and unloading equipment from the vehicle
• Setting up and dismantling ultrasound equipment
• Preparing biopsy needles and slides
• Managing inventory of supplies
• Occasionally performing vehicle maintenance

Experience:

• Veterinary assistant: 1 year (preferred)
• Animal restraint: 1 year (preferred)
• Driving: 3+ years (required)

Position Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• High school diploma or GED
• Availability Monday-Thursday, 9 AM-5 PM, with flexible meetup times
• Passion for animals and veterinary medicine
• Strong communication skills, good judgment, ability to work under stress, and respect for team members
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Compensation includes:
